This year all 8th grade students will participate in National History Day in World Studies. National History Day is a project sponsored locally by the University of Maryland and is part of a nation wide competition. The objective of NHD is to encourage students to think critically and to conduct research, interpret primary sources and explore the larger historical significance of topics that interest them.
