Magruder High School

Good afternoon Magruder community, 

Join us this Tuesday October 21 at 7:00 pm for a virtual community meeting to discuss the recent proposal to rebuild Magruder High School & the impacts of the MCPS Program Analysis on the Magruder cluster.

• Join Principal Ascienzo, the Magruder PTSA, MCCPTA, and others to learn about the Superintendent's proposal to use the new Crown High School as a holding school while several high schools including Magruder are rebuilt.
• We will also discuss the impacts of the MCPS Program Analysis on the Magruder cluster and surrounding school clusters.  
• Learn how you can advocate for Magruder and the cluster to MCPS and Montgomery County government leadership at the upcoming Capital Improvements Program (CIP) Public Hearing at the Board of Education on October 28. Sign ups to testify through public comment close on Oct. 22 at 7:00 pm! 
• YOUR VOICE MATTERS AND WILL BE HEARD at the MCPS and county level. ALL VOICES MATTER, including staff and elementary families since your students may be impacted by the time your students are in high school! 
• Principal Ascienzo and others will explain what we know and answer any questions to the best of our ability!
