PSAT test info

Dear 8^th Grade Parents/Guardians,

This is to inform you that 8th grade students will be given the opportunity to participate in the Fall PSAT 8/9 Test on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 8:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Kingsview Middle School. The PSAT 8/9 establishes a baseline measurement of college and career readiness as students prepare to enter high school. It also gives students a chance to preview the SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, and PSAT10 and connect to AP courses. The PSAT 8/9 does not require students to recall specific facts and is not a requirement to apply to MCPS magnet programs. All students are eligible to participate. Students with accommodations will need to apply for accommodation through the College Board: https://www.collegeboard.org/

The cost for the PSAT Test administration is $13.75 (non-refundable). The cost includes a processing fee of $0.75. Please log into your School Cash Online (SCO) account to register your student and to pay for the PSAT Test by Friday, September 27, 2024: https://www.schoolcashonline.com/
