Good Morning Kingsview Family,
This is Principal Harrison.
Welcome to the first full day of summer break! It has been an amazingly different school year but we made it! You have learned a lot about yourselves and mastered new ways of using technology to demonstrate academic skills. Well done. Please take some time to disconnect from technology and enjoy the outdoors!
Parents, please view the links below for access to summer resources and independent summer enrichment information for math, ESOL and English. The resources and activities are for families wanting students to remain engaged in content but are not participating in MCPS summer programming options. Students can engage independently with these materials and explore/study the contents at their pace.

Summer Enrichment Programs at Kingsview:
LOCAL SUMMER SCHOOL - Kingsview Middle School will be offering free academic and enrichment courses this summer for all incoming 6th, rising 6th and rising 7th graders (6-8 graders in FALL 2021). This in-person program will be offered from July 6- July 30th. Courses will include Math, Literacy, STEM, World Languages and the Arts. Please note registration for this opportunity is now closed (exceptions may be considered for students who are new enrollments to MCPS/KMS in the fall 2021 only).
ORIENTATION MINI CAMP- This program will be offered to incoming 6th grade students. Additional details regarding registration information will be provided in a separate email by the end of June 2021. All students who wish to participate must be registered. Please be advised space is limited. This program will serve students on a first come, first serve basis. Stay tuned for additional details regarding mini-camp.
