Spirit Week and Homecoming 2022
School spirit and homecoming week begins Monday, October 3rd. Please contact Je'nelle_J_Henderson@mcpsmd.org or Kia_P_Davis@mcpsmd.org with homecoming questions.
- School Sprit Week begins Monday, October 3rd
- Monday: We Are the World Day
- Decades Day
- Yom Kippur—NO SCHOOL
- Thursday: Pajama Day
- Friday: School Spirit Day
Underclass wear green, gold or yellow | Seniors wear black
- Hallway Decoration Night is Thursday, October 6th: grade 9 students will decorate the halls until 9:00 p.m., grade 10 students will decorate the halls until 10:00 p.m., grade 11 students will decorate the halls until 11:00 p.m., and grade 12 students decorate the halls until midnight
- Our pep rally is Friday, October 7th on the stadium field
- Our homecoming parade is Saturday, October 8th at 10:30 a.m. The parade route will begin in the JFK parking lot; we will then walk/drive down Middlevale Drive, through the Tivoli community, to Randolph Road (which is partially shut down for the parade), and back to JFK
- Our homecoming football game vs. Magruder is Saturday, October 8th at 1:30 p.m.
- Our homecoming dance is Saturday, October 8th, 8-11:00 p.m.
Homecoming dance guest forms are required for all guests who do not attend Kennedy High School. Homecoming dance tickets may be purchased via SchoolCash Online.
