MCPS High School Regional/Countywide application programs are available to all students. Read about the programs here.
MCPS 8th grade students can apply to a wide variety of countywide & regional programs at different MCPS high schools. Gaithersburg High School (GHS) is our home school with great programs, but there are also other programs throughout the county that may interest your student. These programs are lottery & criteria-based. If interested, students apply for high school choice programs beginning of your 8th grade year.
