Counseling Department

    The Counseling Dept hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Counselors are available from 7:20 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Students are welcome to drop by the Counseling Dept to speak with your counselor. If your counselor is not available, please email them to request a meeting. If a parent would like to speak to their child's counselor, please call or email the counselor.

    At Damascus High School, the Counseling Department is committed to fostering an inclusive and culturally competent environment where every student can thrive. We provide comprehensive support for post-secondary planning, social and emotional well-being, and access to community resources, with a steadfast dedication to equity. Our mission is to empower all students to achieve their goals through a holistic approach that embraces and celebrates diverse backgrounds and perspectives. We are devoted to guiding and inspiring each student to reach their fullest potential, ensuring that every individual is valued and supported in their academic and personal journey.

    It is the vision of the Damascus High School Counseling office that students graduating are provided with a comprehensive counseling program that supports students becoming college, career and life ready with all the skills necessary for maximizing their academic success and fostering social/emotional development.
