You've heard about it and now it's here! It's time to start our Geo Bee preparations. The Geo Bee will take place on November 21, 2017. We are studying the Western Hemisphere this year- North, South, Central America and the Caribbean. We focus on a section of the world-now in rotations of 3 years instead of 4- with the loss of Grade 6. In other words, in the course of 3 years at NCC, your child would have studied the entire world- geographically! Packets are being released electronically this year on Oct. 9, 2017 and a few will be made by MCPS. Click the packet below- print it, and go for it! Encourage your child to keep the packet in his/her backpack so that they can work on it at home and at school. We will work on it in Media sometimes too. Special thanks to the Geo Bee dynamic duo of Mr. and Mrs. Hage for all of their work with reorganizing the Geo Bee program. They have also held Study Buddy work sessions during the lunch periods for the past 2 weeks. Grade level teams will compete against each other on stage in the All Purpose Room. Parents are invited to attend. Hey alright!
