  • PARCC Testing begins

     PARCC (Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers) testing begins next week, April 23-27, 2018. This is standardized testing done across the county!  

  • The Principal's Monthly Newsletter- April 2018

    Please read the April 2018 Principal's Post. This is our monthly Principal's Newsletter.  There's a lot of information about upcoming events and a few reminders from MCPS.    

  • The Media Festival 2018

    Due Date Extended! The new due date for projects is April 20, 2018 The Media Festival will be held at NCC on May 23, 2018 in the morning. This is a special event that we sponsor with Chevy Chase Elementary School. Projects may be created by small groups of students and will be due April 20, 2018. Categories include Sequential stills, Animation, and Live Action video and new this year, Photography- Black and White and Color. Hey alright!

  • The Bulldog Bark

    Several NCC students created a newspaper in Writing Club held on Mondays in the Media Center. Enjoy the March issue of Bulldog Bark!  

  • Safety Resolution from MCPS

    Are you concerned about school safety? Read the recent Safety Resolution for Montgomery County Schools.

  • MyMCPS begins at NCC!

     North Chevy Chase parents may now access information on MyMCPS! Parents should have received a letter from MCPS earlier this year with directions and password to access MyMCPS. If you need another copy of this letter, please contact us at school. We are all learning this new form of communication. Classes will be posting calendar items and announcements often.   • School Improvement Plan 2017-2018

     All MCPS schools develop a School Improvement Plan (SIP) to ensure that all students are achieving. The plan is revised each year and is based on data and more.  

  • Please join the PTA!

    The NCC PTA supports many programs that benefit all students of NCC. To eliminate the practice of the traditional "selling items" fundraisers, we ask for a Direct Donation from NCC families. Thank you PTA! 

  • MCPS Information for Chaperones and Volunteers

     We want to keep all children safe. Please read information from MCPS regarding parent chaperones and volunteers.
