Sneak a Peak at Your Seat & PTA Social - September 1st

Come by for a quick visit to see your classroom and meet your new teacher from 2:30-3:30. Families new to College Gardens (excluding kindergarteners) will have an orientation at 2pm in the Media Center. And don't forget to spend some time visiting old friends and making new ones at the PTA Social 3-5pm!

5th Grade Service Project a Big Success!

Summer Math and Reading

This time of year the question that parents most often ask is, “What can I do to help my child continue learning over summer vacation?”  In response, the staff at College Gardens has designed an incentive plan to help motivate your child to read and do math activities regularly. Volunteering at College Gardens - MCPS Mandatory Training

We hope you will be able to volunteer sometime this year whether it is helping in the classroom, participating in a classroom party or chaperoning a field trip. If you do MCPS has new guidelines regarding volunteering including a MANDATORY ONLINE TRAINING. This training must be completed before you may volunteer in anyway at the school. You may do the training online at home or at CGES in the Main Office. Click on the link above for more information.
