6th grade parents,

Welcome to Julius West Middle School! Our traditional summer orientation sessions for rising 6th graders will not be offered this year. The new "Transition Day" on Monday, August 25th will be the day that all 6th graders attend school as the only grade level. The 7th and 8th grade students will not be in school that day, so that 6th graders can receive a full day of orientation.

Also, during the first week of August, you will receive a newsletter from me to officially launch the new school year. There will be information about school supplies, bus routes, Back-to-School Night, school policies (e.g. cell phones), etc. Stay tuned!
