Prom
Friday evening, get ready for an epic prom night at Glen Echo Park! Doors open at 7:00 PM and close at 9:00 PM sharp, you can arrive early and take pictures around the park. It is a beautiful venue. No entry after 9pm. All MCPS rules/policies apply at this event. Don't leave your student ID or tickets behind – it's your way in. If you are bringing an outside guest, they must show ID at check-in for entry. We are all looking to an amazing night.
International Night
Thursday evening, please join us for our International Night! We will begin at 5:30pm and it will take place in the auditorium. International Night Invitation.
SAT for Juniors
On Thursday, April 25, Juniors that missed the SAT, will take the make-up. Ms. Roberson has emailed students that need to make up the test with information and their testing location.
Career Fair
The Watkins Mill Career Fair will be held on Wednesday April 24 from 10 AM - 12:15 PM. ALL seniors will attend during Wolverine Wednesday and juniors may attend during their fourth period or during lunch. It will take place in the auxiliary gym at Watkins Mill. There will also be a Mobile Job Center parked outside of the gym entrance - Worksource Montgomery will be on site during the Career Fair to provide resume and cover letter. Students, to work with a job coach please sign-up HERE.
IB Testing Schedule

Preschool program at WMHS is now accepting application for next school year
This unique program provides a quality educational experience for preschool children and high school students who are eager to work and learn together. Children who are 3 and 4 years old are eligible to participate in the Preschool Lab Program during the 2023-2024 school year. Children must be toilet trained to participate. Please complete the attached application and forward the application along with a $100.00 Non-refundable deposit to: (Checks should be made payable to Watkins Mill High School). International Night
Come and enjoy this free event for you and your family. MUSIC, FASHION, TALENT, and FOOD FROM AROUND THE WORLD. Thursday, April 25th 5:30-7:00 pm. Volunteers and participants are needed! Please use QR code to sign-up!
Yearbooks on Sale Now!
It's time to reserve your yearbook! Seniors, we want your input! Look for the QR codes around the building, in your classrooms, and in the Media Center. These QR codes allow you to share your baby pictures, submit your pet photos, vote for your Senior Favorites, and much, much more. The Senior Superlatives are also being selected by using the QR codes!
Graduation Date Announcement
Please mark your calendars for our Class of 2024 graduation date. Our graduation ceremony with take place June 7, 2024, 10am at DAR Constitution Hall. We will provide more information about graduation later this month.
