Student ID required everyday-all day

Students are required to bring them to school everyday and present them when entering school. Student IDs should be visible at all times. Students will be issued new IDs on picture day September 9th and 10th and will be provided with lanyards. If a student loses their ID, they must replace it and pay a $5 fee for a new one.

Student Parking Permit Now Available

Student parking permits are now available for $78 in the Financial Office. The deadline to purchase a permit is September 8, after which unauthorized vehicles may be ticketed or towed. How to Pay: Online In the Financial Office (cash or check) Eligibility: No outstanding school obligations. Good attendance and eligible.

School Picture Day – September 9 & 10

Grades 9–11 will take their school pictures through their English classes. Students will also receive their student IDs and lanyards on picture day. Please remind your student to bring their ID to school every day once they receive it. Seniors will receive their lanyards in their English classes. Join Marching Band! Learn to play an instrument...or 2 !!

WE NEED YOU!!! The Marching Wolverines are signing up new members. The Marching Band performs at Football games, parades, pep rallies, and community events. Membership is open to all 7-12th graders in the Montgomery Village Cluster and there is no cost to join. Instruments include but are not limited to flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, tuba, and percussion. No experience is required, members new to an instrument or marching band can easily get started playing in the drumline, learning a wind instrument, or joining the color guard and flags section. Band Camp dates are Monday-Thursday 9:00-12:00 pm August 4th-7th and August 11th-14th. After school practices are held regularly throughout September and October. The Watkins Mill Child Development Preschool is now enrolling for the 2025/2026 school year. The program will run Mon-Thursday from 8-11 a.m. from October through May. If you are interested in your child attending our preschool program, please complete and return the application to the WMHS main office ASAP.
