Twinbrook students have the opportunity to participate in the  Maryland Black-Eyed Susan Award Program.  The purpose of this program is to promote life-long reading habits. Students read from a list of books selected by a committee of Maryland media specialists.  Students must read 8 picture books to vote in the picture category and 3 chapter books to vote in the chapter book category.
