The safety of students and staff is Montgomery County Public Schools’ top priority. One significant mitigation tactic MCPS is using this fall is random COVID-19 screening tests and rapid testing across grades. MCPS, in partnership with the Maryland Department of Health, is offering COVID tests to students at no cost. Testing requires parent permission. COVID-19 testing for all students will help us keep our schools open and safe and keep students IN the classroom and OUT of quarantine. See flyer for more information.
