The Montgomery County Safe Routes to School (SRTS) program has launched our annual Pedestrian Safety Art Contest  for all elementary school students in Montgomery County. The simple purpose of the contest is to have students use their creativity to educate themselves and others about the importance of walking safely. Not only is it important for students to go to school, but they MUST get there safely.
SUBMIT YOUR ARTWORK HERE! There is NO entry fee for any student that participates in the contest. The deadline for submissions is April 28, 2022.Winning artwork from the contest will not only be displayed on the SRTS website, social media and they will  be awarded the prizes below: 
K-3rd Grade Prizes
1st Place - $75 Barnes & Noble Gift Card
2nd Place - $50 Barnes & Noble Gift Card
3rd Place - $25 Barnes & Noble Gift Card
4-5th Grade Prizes
1st Place - $75 Amazon Gift Card
2nd Place - $50 Amazon Gift Card
3rd Place - $25 Amazon Gift Card

BONUS SCHOOL PRIZE: The school with the largest number of submissions (based on percentage of student population) will win $200 to MICHAEL’S for art supplies.
