International Night: Nov. 29 (6:30-8pm)

Please join us for our annual International Night on Thursday, November 29 from 6:30-8. Enjoy international cusines, music and dance performances, and displays, including country boards with cultural artifacts created by our students.

Scholastic Book Fair: November 26-30

Students will preview the book fair M-W in the media center and fill out wish lists that will go home in folders. We will have a pop-up fair during International Night (Nov. 29, 6:30-8pm) in the hallway outside the APR. We hope to see you all there! You can also shop online on our Scholastic homepage: http://www.scholastic.com/bf/carlsandburgleaningcenter.   

Individual Picture Day: October 23

Victor O'Neill Studios is coming to Carl Sandburg to take individual photographs of students and staff. Order forms will be sent home in students' folders (also attached red link above). Online ordering link: vosphoto.com/carlsandburg 

Backpack Awareness Day: October 3

CSLC will recognize National School Backpack Awareness Day on Wednesday, October 3. Our occupational therapy team will send out informational sheets to help students, parents, and staff to avoid the pain and injury that can come from heavy backpacks, bags, and purses. Back to School Night: September 13 (Doors open at 6:45pm)

Parents-please join us for back to school night. You will meet your child's teachers and find out what your child will be learning about this school year. Doors open at 6:45 and event will end at approximately 8:30.
