Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year!
Dear Rosemont Families and Community,
Welcome back to a brand-new school year at Rosemont Elementary School! We hope your summer was filled with rest, joy, and special memories. As we prepare to launch an exciting year of learning and growth, we want to thank you for your continued partnership and support.
At Rosemont Elementary School, we are COMMITTED to Excellence for Every Learner, Every Day. Our mission and vision guide everything we do. Together, we will:
- Foster positive, equitable relationships with students, staff, and families
- Deliver culturally responsive, rigorous instruction
- Achieve results for ALL students
This year, we are also embracing a new focus on Unreasonable Hospitality—going above and beyond to make every child, family member, and staff member feel genuinely seen, valued, and welcomed. Whether it’s a warm greeting at the door, a personalized note home, or simply taking the time to listen, we are committed to building a school culture rooted in care, connection, and kindness.
We are thrilled to welcome our new Assistant Principal, Melissa Ritchie, who brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion for student success. In addition, we welcome several new staff members who share our commitment to excellence, equity, hospitality, and we are confident they will make meaningful contributions to our school community. Please help me welcome the following new staff members to our school:
- Staff Development Teacher - Tamara Strawbridge
- Second Grade Teacher - Kimberly Kehr
- Fifth Grade Teacher - Luis Espinosa
- Fifth Grade Teacher - Justin Kroener
- Attendance Secretary - Whitney Garey
- Kindergarten Teacher - Cindy Park
We are incredibly excited about the goals we’ve set for each of our students this year. Together—with your involvement and our shared commitment—we will ensure that every child is challenged, supported, and celebrated.
Here’s to a fantastic school year filled with learning, fun, and unforgettable moments of connection. Let’s make this our best year yet!
Warmly,
Dr. Keely Cooke
