Book Wars is a fun and exciting trivia tournament for select MCPS middle schools!

RFMS has three teams, one for each grade level. Teams meet twice monthly during lunch in the library to get to know each other, discuss books, create practice quizzes, and have fun! Book Wars books cover a variety of genres.  They are all available to borrow from our school, and approved for middle school readers.

Team members must commit to reading their assigned books, and to attend and participate at meetings.

**Space is limited. Only 15 spots are available.

Frost Makerspace

Maker Monday

A Makerspace is a creative, DIY space that provides students the opportunity to collaboratively or independently create, invent, and learn when they visit the Media Center. We want our Media Center to be a place where kids can learn, not only through books, but through hands on activities as well. Maker Monday is a monthly lunch program that highlights working together on a specific project while also making literary connections to what the students are working on.
