     ATHLETICS FOR 7TH & 8TH GRADERS

    Competitive tryouts are announced at the start of each season.  Students must have a 2.0 grade point average and a current medical physical on file with the school and have paid the MCPS extra curricular fee of $30.   Parents are encouraged to participate with the team assisting with driving to away games/meets.

    INTRAMURALS FOR ALL GRADES 

    Intramurals are open to all grade levels and are held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday as shown below.  PA announcements will be made and schedules posted on electronic signs in cafeteria and main lobby.  Students may participate in intramurals one, two, or three days a week.  Intramural Directors will vary with activities.  On occasion a specific activity may be cancelled due to lack of student interest.  Announcements will be made for cancellations and in advance whenever possible.

    Intramurals will begin September 17th  and continue through mid May.  The following requirements must be met prior to participation:

    1. Students must have a 2.0 grade point average.

    Tuesdays - Tennis
