Attention to parents of "Soon-to-be-Kindergarteners," we will be having our Kindergarten Orientation on location at Judith A. Resnik on Wednesday April 24, and Wednesday May 8. RSVP using this link to sign up for one of the days!

Parents are also encouraged to bring their children and meet the Kindergarten Teachers!

Restorative Justice Coaches

Restorative Justice is a mindset and philosophy toward school climate and relationship building.

There is a Restorative Justice Coach in each MCPS school to help implement restorative practices and approaches.  Additionally, each school is supported by a central office team of Restorative Justice Instructional Specialists, Well-Being Social Workers, and Mindfulness Educators.  Please click here to review the contacts and information for Judith A. Equity Audit Results

Between December 2020 and July 2022, MCPS contracted with the Mid-Atlantic Equity Consortium, Inc. (MAEC) to conduct a systemwide antiracist audit of MCPS’s practices, policies, and system. The intent of the audit was to identify ways to increase access, opportunities, and equitable outcomes for every student’s academic and social-emotional wellbeing, in six areas: (1) school culture, (2) workforce diversity, (3) work conditions, (4) curriculum, (5) community relations and engagement, and (6) equity of access.
