Latinas Title 

    PURPOSE:   

    We strive to provide leadership skills, cultural affirmation, solidarity and support for Spanish and Portuguese speaking girls at Quince Orchard High School.   

    Also in this club, we try to promote academic excellence, personal responsibility, trust among members, and Latina empowerment. 

    GOALS: 

    1. Create a place where Latina girls can share their experiences and develop their sense of identity as well as new relationships. 
    2.  Invite Latina leaders/ professionals from the community to come and share their career experiences and cultural challenges.  Maintain connections with these “Madrinas” as future resources and/or mentors. 
    3. Connect with the community by getting involved in local organizations and doing community service hours.
