QO Class of 2025 Earns AP Scholar Honor Roll PLATINUM Honors!

Quince Orchard High School is excited to announce that the QOHS 2025 graduating class received AP School Honor Roll Platinum Honors. The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools whose AP program delivers results and broadens participation for students.

Schools can earn the Honor Roll recognition annually based on criteria that reflect a commitment to increasing their school’s college-going culture, providing opportunities for students to earn college credit, and maximizing college readiness. The AP School Honor Roll offers four levels of distinction: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.

In the QOHS Class of 2025, 86% of seniors took at least one AP Exam during high school, 62% scored a three or higher on at least one AP Exam, and 42% who took five or more AP Exams.

When the Class of 2025 enrolled as freshman, QO offered 27 AP classes with 835 AP students taking 1,647 AP Exams.  By 2025, QO offered 30 AP Classes and had 1,048 students take 2,311 exams.

Over the past three years, Quince Orchard High School has received silver (2023), gold (2024) and now platinum honor roll status.

College Board’s Advanced Placement® Program (AP®) enables students to pursue college-level studies—with the opportunity to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both—while still in high school. Through AP courses, each culminating in a challenging exam, students learn to think critically, construct solid arguments, and see many sides of an issue—skills that prepare them for college and beyond.
