Virtual Learning Plan
Luxmanor Elementary School follows the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Virtual Learning Plan to ensure continuity of instruction during multi-day, systemwide emergency school closures or extended inclement weather events. Designed to maintain academic engagement when in-person learning is interrupted, the plan includes live (synchronous) teacher-led instruction, independent (asynchronous) work, student support services, and continued access to digital learning platforms like MyMCPS Classroom and Zoom.
Please note that virtual instruction is utilized only for extended closures following system guidelines, while traditional, full-day closures may still be used for isolated weather events.
