Read Across America:
We are excited to kick off Read Across America Day Thursday, 2 March 2023 at 8:00 pm to 8:30 pm with a live zoom filled with wonderful bedtime stories for our scholars. Join the Zoom Meeting here. Diverse stories provide kids with different perspectives and help them see how others think and feel. Put reading to kids on your calendar all year round.
Additionally, each teacher received a Bowie Baysox Reading poster, participating scholars are asked to read 4 books in order to receive two free tickets to our scheduled game day at the Bowie Baysox field, Sunday April 30, 2023. Posters will be collected from classrooms on March 30, 2023. We hope to have 100% participation!
