Lakewood Elementary School

All Maryland students in Grades 5 and 8 will participate in The Maryland Integrated Science Assessment (MISA). This assessment is constructed with four "units." In each of the first three units, students will read information about three separate phenomena and answer items about each. One of those items will be a constructed response item, and the other items will be a combination of selected response, fill-in-the-blank, matching, and other technology enhanced item types. The MISA assessment requires students to read, write and reflect, analyze and show results, and utilize information from multiple sources in a real-world context. Lakewood fifth grade students will take the MISA on March 21 and 22, 2022.
