Lakewood Elementary School

This year, our school math team has 29 students, including sixteen 5th graders and thirteen 4th graders. Our team score ranks top 10% in the elementary division, and we won Plaque of Honor (the highest award for the team) and Honor Roll of Highest Team Achievement (National Top 10% teams).

Alan S. from 5th grade got perfect score in all 5 contests. He won Dr. George Lunchner Award and Highest Individual Score Trophy. Two 5th graders Eric C. and Justin J. were 2 to 3 points from perfect score, and won Honorable Mention Trophies. Three of them also ranked among National Top 2% and won Gold Logo Pins.

These 5th grade students are among the National Top 10% and won Silver Logo Pins; they are Alina F., Eva W., Abhinav M., Rithvik C. and Mira W. Twenty-four out of twenty-nine students are among National Top 50% and won Embroidered Patch. Each student will get a participation certificate as well.
