Circulation Policies

  • Students in grades Kindergarten are permitted to check out one (1) item at a time
  • Students in grades 1-5 are permitted to check out two (2) items at a time
  • Students can keep materials for 2 weeks
  • Students may not check out materials if they have any overdue items

Find books using Destiny!

Use Destiny to search for books. You can search at school or at home and make a list of books to look for in the library!

Black-Eyed Susan Book Award

The Black-Eyed Susan Book Award is a children’s choice award for the state of Maryland. Each year since 1992, the Black-Eyed Susan Book Award has been given to authors and/or illustrators of outstanding books chosen for the award by Maryland students. The award seeks to promote literacy and lifelong reading habits by encouraging students to read quality, contemporary literature.
