Latino Family Field Trip
For our last event of the
year, the Latino Parent Advocacy Committee has planned the Latino Family Field
Trip for this Sunday, May 19 to Washington, D.C. We will have a bus leaving
from Forest Oak at 10:00 am and we will be back at Forest Oak by 3:00 pm.We will visit the bilingual
exhibit about the Inca at the National Museum of the American Indian. We
will have lunch either in the museum or on the National Mall.To attend, students must
return the permission slip to me (Main Office is fine) by this Friday. Flyers and permission slips
are available in the Main Office, in my room and on our school website.The Latino Family Field Trip
is open to all Forest Oak MS families and

Year End Activities for 8th Graders!
On behalf of the eighth grade team at Forest Oak Middle School, we would like to request your presence at our Eighth Grade Award and Promotion Ceremony on June 10, 2019, beginning at 7 pm. The ceremony will be held at Gaithersburg High School, 101 Education Blvd. Gaithersburg. Each 8th grade student will be given three designated tickets for family and/or guests. These tickets are to be presented at the door and used to indicate where you will be seated.Then, to celebrate the end of the school year and our students' successes and accomplishments. we will be taking our 8th grade students on a Spirit of Washington Potomac River Cruise in Washington, D.C. This will take place on June 11, 2019.
