Ken Buffum
This is my 20th year teaching in MCPS. Prior to coming to Damascus, I taught at Sligo Middle School and Quince Orchard High School. I am passionate about all things social studies, particularly economics and finance. My students participate in the “Stock Market Game” competition each year, where students have had success. I was also recently recognized by the trading card company Topps for incorporating trading cards into my economic class!
