I am a National Board Certified Teacher entering my 17th year in education. I spent the first 13 years of my career at Paint Branch High School and the past 3 years at Wootton High School. I have experience teaching all levels of math courses from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus BC. In addition to my work in high schools, I have 5 years of experience working part-time at the University of Maryland as an instructor for the Terrapin Teachers program, supporting and mentoring future STEM educators. This year, I’m excited to begin a new chapter at Damascus High School, where I will be teaching AP Calculus AB, Algebra 1, and two Connections classes. I’m passionate about creating a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued. My goal is to help students strengthen their math skills and build lasting confidence in their abilities.
