Mr. John A. Robertson, Assistant Principal

J. Robertson

About Me:

I am a 29-year veteran educator committed to serving the Germantown community. The second born child of teenage parents, I used the light of education to navigate my humble South Central, Los Angeles beginnings. After graduating from Brown University, where I earned an AB Degree with concentrations in Economics and Sociology, I decided to pursue a career in education to help youth unlock doors of opportunity and rise to their full potential. I started my career as a social studies and mathematics teacher at Harlem Park Middle School in Baltimore City. I taught those same subjects at Randallstown High in Baltimore County. After meeting my wife, who was a resident of Germantown, I relocated to Montgomery County and served as an administrator at Seneca and Northwest High schools. I hold an MA in Instructional Systems Development from UMBC and an MSW degree from the UMD School of Social Work. I bring ALL that I am to the Roberto Clemente Middle School community!!
