What is the Jumpstart to College Dual Enrollment Program?
- The Jump Start to College dual enrollment program is a partnership between Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) and Montgomery College (MC).
- This program provides qualified, highly motivated 11th- and 12th-grade MCPS students the opportunity to earn college credits while in high school.
- These college classes will be offered at no cost beginning with the 2023-24 school year.

- Spring 2026 In-House Course Offerings
- ENGL 102: Introduction to College Writing - M, W, F 1: 00pm - 2:00 pm
- PSYC100: Introduction to Psychology - Tu/Th 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
- SOCY 100: Introduction to Sociology - M/W 1: 00 pm -2:30 pm
- ALL CHS courses meet during period 7 & 8
- MC classes for the fall and spring semesters are free for up to 2 courses, including tuition, fees, and textbooks
- Dual enrollment is available to all qualified students in grades 9 - 12.
- Select MC classes are taught at CHS. These classes vary by semester. Classes taught in the past include Intro to Human Communication, General Psychology, Intro to College Writing, and more
