Spring EBB Registration Has Begun!

The 2020 Spring EBB Session will begin on January 28th!   Completed registration forms accepted on a first come, first serve basis .  Download the brochure to find out about the classes offered for Spring 2020.   You may turn in your completed registration forms to the Main Office.

ARGYLE SGA DAY OF SERVICE!

Come out and join Argyle’s SGA, on Saturday February 1st in the Argyle Cafeteria as we help our community and students earn SSL hours with a variety of student-friendly service learning projects. Projects will include letter writing to Military Service members, cleaning up the Argyle school grounds, and creating blankets for patients in hospice care. Be sure to scan the QR to sign-up so that we know you are coming.

HBCU Annual College Fair on January 24th

It's not too early to start thinking about college.  Explore Historically Black Colleges and Universities at a free college fair to be held on January 24th at Universities at Shady Grove for MCPS students currently in grades 8-12.  The college fair will be from 6-8 and there will be a seminar especially for middle schoolers from 6-7pm.   Online registration is required to attend the college fair and for high school students wanting to participate in on the spot college interviews (3:30-8:00 pm).

Info on the 2020-2021 School Year Calendar

The Board of Education has adopted the school year calendar for the 2020–2021 school year. The traditional school year will begin on Monday, August 31, 2020, and the last day is scheduled for Wednesday, June 16, 2021. The calendar includes 182 days of instruction; a 10-day spring break; closures for planning and professional development; and an operational closure in September.  Click for more information and Spanish translation.

Youth Cruiser Smartrip Card for Ride On/Metrobus

All Montgomery County Public Schools’ students ages 18 and younger can ride  free all the time on  Ride On buses and most Metrobuses within Montgomery County. MCPS is excited to have this additional method of transportation available to students and thanks the Montgomery County Council and the Montgomery County Depart

Argyle Parent Digital Citizenship

This school year, Argyle was awarded a prestigious grant from Verizon that provides every student in the building with an iPad for learning and instruction. A component of the Verizon Innovative Learning Schools (VILS) program is Parent Digital Citizenship.  Parents and families who still need to complete their required Parent Digital Citizenship session can find the on-line module at http://mcpsmd.instructure.com/register.
