    Vision

    Summit Hall is a community of students, families, and staff dedicated to developing a welcoming, equitable, healthy, and anti-racist culture. We expect each individual to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
    Mission

    Our Summit Hall Community will work together to create an environment that welcomes everyone, provides inclusive opportunities for all, and challenges racism. Our learners will develop critical thinking skills, build social/emotional intelligence, and meet or exceed high expectations. Staff will provide supportive, engaging, culturally relevant, and purposeful instruction to prepare students as lifelong learners.

     

    Established in 1971, Summit Hall Elementary proudly serves over 400 students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 5 and is a member of the Gaithersburg Cluster. Our school community is enriched by the many cultures, languages, and experiences that our students and families bring each day.

    As a designated Community School, we are committed to supporting the whole child and fostering strong partnerships with families and our community. We proudly collaborate with the Judy Center, Linkages to Learning, and the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services to provide comprehensive services and resources that promote student success and family well-being. Summit Hall is also home to one of the county's School-Based Health and Wellness Centers.
