Attached is information about the end of the
year 8th grade field trip to Kings Dominion which was sent home last week. The
date for the trip is June 6, 2018 with a departure time of 8:00 am and a return
time of 8:00 pm. The cost of the trip will be $90.00 and includes,
transportation, a Sligo t-shirt, rides & attractions, and entry to Water
Works and Dinosaurs Alive. Students will be responsible for other costs,

This prestigious award is for any middle school student who has completed 75 SSL hours and submitted their SSL Verification forms on or by April 6. You may contact Ms. Monroe, SSL Coordinator, for questions.

students. Teachers and staff have already been working hard to allow each
7th and 8th grader to provide an exhibit they can be proud of. We need
presenters, judges, pizza, & water sellers along with set up and take down

Soccer season begins March 6th with tryouts scheduled
for March 6th to 8th. Students must be in 7th or 8th grade and be academically
eligible to participate. In order to try-out, each student will needs a signed
permission form and a physical & medical card. If they
played on or tried out for a team in the fall or winter, they should have a
physical on file and will only need a permission form for soccer. Please click here for some additional information.
The Formation Conference is for young women and their parents in grades 6-12. The Game Changer Conference is for young men and their parents in grades 4-12. Students who would like to attend should contact their counselor. Click here for more information on both events.
