Sligo families – On April 4, 2018, the Montgomery County Board of Education
announced my appointment as the new principal of Gaithersburg High School,
beginning next school year. The past three years at Sligo Middle School
have been amazing, and this new endeavor was a challenging decision for me to
make, both personally and professionally. Attached you will find my official letter to the Sligo MS
community. While this change may cause some anxiety with the impending
changes, the state of our school is in an excellent place as we enter
into a new administration. We have passionately committed staff and
community that are committed to helping all of our students be
successful. I am proud of where our school currently stands, and know
wholeheartedly, that the growth will continue to a point where Sligo will be
one of the top middle schools in Montgomery County. (Click to continue reading)
