     La noche multicultural será el martes, 10 de abril de 6:30-8:30pm. Estamos buscando personas que quieran ayudar. Este evento celebra la diversidad de Sligo Middle School a través de alimentos, artesanías y actuaciones de todo los Estados Unidos y los países del mundo.   • Multicultural Night is Coming (April 10th)

    Multicultural Night will be Tuesday, April 10th from 6:30-8:30pm. We are looking for people who want to help out.  This event celebrates the diversity of Sligo Middle School through food, crafts, and performances from around the United States and the world.   • Save the Date and Volunteers Needed: STEM Expo Night (March 22nd)

    Please save the date and join our effort to make the 2018 Sligo EXPO an amazing experience for our students.  Teachers and staff have already been working hard to allow each 7th and 8th grader to provide an exhibit they can be proud of. We need presenters, judges, pizza, & water sellers along with set up and take down teams.  Volunteers from last year appreciated this hands on way to connect to students and what they are learning.  Sign up and don't miss out!   • Get Ready for Soccer Tryouts (March 6th-8th)

    Soccer season begins March 6th with tryouts scheduled for March 6th to 8th. Students must be in 7th or 8th grade and be academically eligible to participate. In order to try-out, each student will needs a signed  permission form and a physical & medical card. If they played on or tried out for a team in the fall or winter, they should have a physical on file and will only need a permission form for soccer.   • Formation (April 7th) and Game Changer (April 14th) Conferences---Empowering Our Children for Success

    The Formation Conference is for young women and their parents in grades 6-12.  The Game Changer Conference is for young men and their parents in grades 4-12.   Students who would like to attend should contact their counselor. Click here for more information on both events.

  • Opioid and Substance Abuse Community Forum (February 22)

    Students and families are invited to Save a Life Montgomery on February 22nd at 6pm at Kennedy High School, 1901 Randolph Road. Learn the facts of substance & alcohol abuse in Montgomery County and find out what you can do to keep our community safe. SSL hours available.   • Registration for 2018-2019 is underway!

  • Extended Day Program

    The Extended Day Program (EDP) will be held at Sligo Middle School beginning on November 7th. Registration for new students is now closed. The dates for EDP are currently  November -7, 8, 14, 15, 28, 29;  December 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20;   January 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, 31;  February 1, 6, 7, 13
