Richard Montgomery High School

All students who complete the IB Middle Years Programme will be eligible for an MYP Certificate.  To be eligible for the MYP Certificate students must complete or demonstrate

• Mastery of IB-established objectives in all eight subject areas of the MYP: Language A, Language B, Humanities, Sciences, Mathematics, Arts, Physical Education, and Technology. Students must earn no more than one grade of 2 in any of the eith subjects.
• The MYP Personal Project (an independent piece of work intended to be the culmination of the student's involvement with the five Areas of Interaction).  Students must earn at least a a score of 3 on the Personal Project.
• A minimum of two years of course work and participation in the MYP (grades 9 and 10).

• Complete Algebra II with Analysis and level 3 of a foreign language by the end of their tenth grade year.
