myMCPS Parent Portal

Several parents have raised issues with the new myMCPS Parent Portal.  Please take a moment to log your concerns using this feedback form.  In addition, please attend our PTSA meeting on April 17th at 7pm in the cafeteria.  We have coordinated with the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) to have a representative at the meeting to address your concerns and offer assistance.  In advance of the meeting, we will share your feedback with OCTO and its representative.

2018 IBMA College Fair - April 21

The 2018 IBMA College Fair is coming on April 21 (12:30 - 3:00 pm) at Gar-Field High School in Woodbridge, VA.  120 colleges and universities from 30 states and 6 nations have already signed up, and we expect about 30 more to register before the end of March. A list of the colleges and universities who have registered is listed on the website below. This list will be updated each week, so keep checking back.

Senior Kyle Zhu has been named one of the area's extraordinary teens in the annual Bethesda Magazine competition. 


RM DECA team who are the First Place Chapter in Maryland (3 years in a row). Congratulations also to Junior David Molot for being voted State President. Ms. Michelle Alexander is the DECA Club sponsor. Michael Gan, Sophomore, for winning a Third Place award. 


Junior Emily Tian for being accepted to attend the 2018 New England Young Writers Conference at Bread Loaf. Emily is already a published poet. 


RM SMOB Candidates Juniors Nimah Nayel and Anaya Tadikonda.  GO Rockets!


RM Quizbowl Team, Seniors Adam Howlett, Alex Hu, Naveen Ramen, and Junior Olivia Chen  won first place in the Montgomery Academic Beltway League. Congratulations also to coach  Dr. Wendy Sparks


The RM Debate Team won the county championship! Sophomores Danny Espejo and Nam Lam  took first place in the finals, debating the capital gains tax.  Congratulations also to Coach Noah Grosfeld-Katz.  


Junior Crystal Foretia has published an opinion piece with the LA Times Insider, a program that publishes work from student journalists around the country. 


Senior Vlady Guttenberg was selected as a semi-finalist for the NSLI-Y summer language study program hosted by the U.S. State Department
