Good morning seniors! It's that time of year to begin ordering your cap and gown for graduation. Forms were distributed during English classes. If you did not receive one, there are extras available at the Senior Bulletin Board. Please make sure you order yours by February 28.
Attention Students! Do you need SSL hours? Land Inc is looking for students to help promote litter awareness while cleaning up our community. Multiple dates are available, February 24th, 25th, March 3rd and 4th. To register email Garth Seely at email@example.com. For more information see the flyer on the SSL bulletin board or see Ms. Grubb in room 19.
Attention Students!! If you plan to try out for a spring sport you need to register on the online portal by February 27th. Please do so as soon as possible so you are ready on March 1st. All tryout information and times are on our athletics/booster website, https://phsboosterclub.org/. See Ms. Grubb with any questions.
Miss Poolesville is just around the corner. The show time is Wednesday, February 21, at 6:30pm. Tickets cost $10, but you can purchase yours for only $8 through the Online School Store. The discounted price is only available online. Tickets will be on sale during lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday and before the show Wednesday evening. Tickets will cost $10 at those times. We look forward to seeing everyone at Miss Poolesville, so purchase your tickets soon.
Today all seniors will receive a field trip form for our senior class field trip (Senior Cinema) This year, the seniors are invited to screen the movie “The Post”.
This will be an excused absence for all students who turn in permission slips and take the MCPS bus transportation. Students may not drive themselves and those who do not turn in permission slips cannot attend the field trip. Students who chose to not attend the field trip must be present and attend all of their classes on February 22nd.
The movie theater can only accommodate 175 students and tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis. The deadline is Wednesday February 21st.
You can pay online through the Online Store. You may also bring your payment of cash or check (payable to PHS) to Ms. Flores, the School Financial Specialist.

Poolesville UNICEF Club is having a fundraiser at the Chipotle located on Century Boulevard on February 20th. 50% of the proceeds from your delicious meal will go toward providing children in third world countries with access to clean water- all you have to do is say that you are there to support UNICEF! We hope to see you on February 20th!
