Welcome to Group Piano Lessons at Loiederman Middle School for the 2016-2017 school year. Lessons are taken in our new and updated state-of-the-art Digital Music Lab. Our lab features full-weighted 88 key Roland Digital Pianos and the latest in music technology software providing interactive as well as hands-on instruction. The Digital Music Lab update will keep our lab as of one the most advanced music labs in the nation at the middle school level.

While excellent for the beginner and intermediate piano players, group lessons offer increased practice time for advanced players (5 years or more) and the opportunity to developing a new style (blues, jazz, ragtime, pop) or genre. Eleven lessons are scheduled weekly (Tuesday and Wednesday) after-school during each semester and students can attend another session if they miss a lesson.  Your child is given an opportunity to perform at one recital per semester. Please make plans to attend your child’s piano recital. Take a moment review the schedule for your child’s Tuesday or Wednesday sessions. I look forward to seeing you in the lab.
