MCPS Swine Flu Information

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a public health alert due to the increase of H1N1 (Swine) Flu cases in the United States. Montgomery County Public Schools is in close contact with the county Department of Health and Human Services, Public Health Services (DHHS/PHS) and state health officials concerning this public health emergency.

The school system has also activated its crisis management team, called the Incident Command System, to assist administrators and other staff as they manage their schools and offices in response to new developments. MCPS will provide regular updates to staff, students, and parents through this web site, phone calls (Connect-ed), letters, email (QuickNotes), MCPS cable television channel (Comcast Channel 34), and other communications.
