What is THE WHEATOn-EDISOn PARTNERSHIP?
Wheaton High School and Thomas Edison High School of Technology have forged a unique partnership, opening up exciting opportunities for students in Edison's regional high schools to seamlessly integrate Wheaton's academies with Edison's career-based programs.
Through this collaboration, 8th grade students from "lower 16" regional high schools may apply to become a Wheaton Knight while in 8th grade. students remain enrolled at Wheaton High School and, during their 11th and/or 12th-grade years, have guaranteed access to Edison's partner programs. These programs offer hands-on coursework, expertly delivered by industry professionals, and provide access to state-of-the-art facilities equipped with industry-standard tools and equipment. This integrated approach ensures students gain practical skills essential for success in their chosen fields.
WHEATON ACADEMIES & Edison Programming
Each Wheaton Academy has a program pathway that includes specialized acadmy coursework that is extended by industry-specific programming at Edison. Partnership students have guaranteed seats in these programs.
