SSL Coordinator: Karen Taylor
75 hours of Student service learning are required for graduation from high school.
To receive the Meritorious Service Award at graduation - a minimum of 260 SSL hours must be submitted by April 1 of the student's senior year.
The MCPS SSL Form, available below, must be completed to submit SSL hours.
Systemwide student documentation deadlines for SSL Hours are listed below.
Submissions are due to Ms. Taylor, the CHS SSL Coordinator, by the deadline.
(Rm 180, or drop off in CHS Main Office for Ms. Taylor's mailbox)
- Friday, September 29, 2017:
Documentation of service performed from June 2, 2017 through the summer is due to Ms. Taylor our SSL coordinator.
- Friday, January 5, 2018:
Documentation of service performed during the first semester is due to Ms. Taylor our SSL coordinator.
- Senior SSL deadline for graduation - Tuesday, May 15, 2018
- Friday, June 1, 2018:
Documentation of all service performed during the second semester is due to Ms. Taylor our SSL coordinator.
