Message from the Principal re: Science Teacher 11/16/09

The 2010 Clarksburg Graduation has been set for June 4, 2010 - 1 pm - at Mount Saint Marys College.

From the Principal:

Winter weather emergencies, such as snow and ice, may cause disruptions in school operations, including the closure of school, a delayed opening, or an early dismissal.  This letter provides information about the procedures used when such disruptions occur. Information also is provided about the weather contingency plan that would add student instructional days to the end of the scheduled school year if schools are closed for more than four days due to excessive weather emergencies.

pink tulip
In an effort to recognize the importance of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Horticulture Science is collaborating with the Green Club and the Child Development class to participate in the Pink Tulip Project here at CHS this fall. This project began in Maine in 2001 as a fundraiser for womens cancer research. The motto for the project is, Help find a cure for breast cancer one pink tulip at a time.
CHS students will be planting 300 tulip bulbs in the courtyard over the next couple of weeks. We are asking anyone interested to pledge $2.00 for every bulb that we plant. Pledge cards will be available every Thursday afternoon at a Horticulture table in front of the courtyard or by emailing Ms. Paul directly to pledge.
