Greetings Cheetahs! I am thrilled to be one of your
part-time counselors. I have been a
counselor at CCES since 2006. Prior to that, I taught fourth grade for four
years and sixth grade for four years in MCPS. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree
in Education from West Virginia University and my Master’s Degree in School
Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. In my spare time I enjoy good food,
going to the theater/ballet, dancing, traveling, and spending time with my
friends and family, especially my two daughters and husband.

Hello Cheetahs! I grew up in Montgomery County and attended elementary, middle, and high school in the Rockville area. I received my Bachelor of Education degree from Towson University and my Master of Education, specializing in Guidance Counseling from Loyola College in Baltimore. In 2000, I began working for MCPS as a classroom teacher for third and fourth grade. In 2013, I became the school counselor here at CCES. I am so happy to be here at the same school where my father went many years ago! I enjoy running, reading, music, going to the beach, and spending time with my husband and our two boys. I’m looking forward to another terrific year at CCES!
