B-CC Middle School #2 Principal Selection Process

The feeder elementary schools for the new B-CC Middle School #2, approved at the November 21 Board of Education meeting, are as follows:  Rosemary Hills ES, Chevy Chase ES, North Chevy Chase ES, and Rock Creek Forest ES (excluding Spanish Immersion students).  Please read the attached letter about the principal selection process for B-CC Middle School #2.

Young Author's Contest

Students, submit a short story or poem to the Young Author's Contest!  All entries are due to Mrs. Vincent no later than Monday, December 12th!!! Read on for guidelines...

CheetahFest - Help Us Plan Our 100th Year Celebration!

Chevy Chase Elementary School's Centennial celebrations begin in early 2017!  Please join us on November 28 at 3:40 p.m. in the Chevy Chase ES media center to help us plan and organize our 100th year celebration activities that will begin in January 2017 and culminate on June 10 with an alumnae, student and community CheetahFest:  Our Family Reunion here on the Chevy Chase Elementary School campus. Please spread the word to your neighbors and alumnae by sharing our Facebook page.  Search for "CCES 100 Years Celebration" and LIKE and share our page.

Safe Routes to School Newsletter - Montgomery County

Safe Routes to School is a nationwide program that focuses on improving safety for students who walk or ride bikes to school.  The program's fall newsletter can be accessed online on the Safe Routes to School web page at       

Please donate your used eyeglasses!

CCES is collecting used eyeglasses for Sight Learning, a certified non-profit organization that collects and distributes glasses to students around the world.  If you have used glasses you would like to donate, please bring them to the CCES office and place them in the Sight Learning collection box.  Our goal is to collect 1000 pairs of glasses!
