    Karen Caroscio, current principal of the Community Montessori Charter School, has been selected as a MCPS principal intern at Chevy Chase Elementary School for the 2014 - 2015 school year. A letter with details is attached.

  • A discussion about Cyber Bullying with Maryland Attorney General Douglas Gansler

    Maryland Attorney General Douglas Gansler will speak about Cyber Bullying on Tuesday, April 8 at Shady Grove Middle School.  A flyer with details is attached.

  • Extraordinary Minds in MCPS

    A forum about how students with autism are educated in MCPS will be held on Tuesday, April 8 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at Wood Middle School.  A flyer with details is attached.

  • CCES Education Foundation Online Auction

    The auction is now OPEN and will close on Sunday, March 30th.  For your bidding pleasure, an incredible selection of teacher donations, activities for your child and parties are available.

  • Vote for Mr. Bowling!

    Mr. Charlie Bowling, our instrumental music teacher, has been nominated for a contest that is sponsored by Cardinal Bank.  The winning music teacher will win $500 for the school's music program.  For directions on how to vote for Mr. Bowling, please read the attached flyer.

  • Japan Fair, March 22 at Bauer Drive Community Rec Ctr

    The Bauer Drive Community Center in Rockville and Sakura Educational Exchange USA will host a student presented "Japan Fair" on Saturday, March 22 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.  A flyer with details is attached.

  • CCES Community Art Project

    In celebration of Youth Arts Month, students are creating a huge collage of "Art in our Lives" in the main entryway. Bring in a photo of art in your life to contribute. Photos should be submitted to Ms. Zanskas anytime between March 7th and March 14th.

  • MCPS May Need to Extend School Year Due to Snow Days
