*Many of the activities for this area help develop students thinking skills and are based on Artful Thinking routines, as developed by Harvard Project Zero.
Visual Art Grading and Reporting
Students will be assessed in two areas related to art content:
- Creating Art: Students demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the art content through appropriate use of tools and techniques to create art.
- Responding to Art: Students demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the art content through their ability to talk about art using appropriate vocabulary.
These areas will be scored on a 4, 3, 2, 1 scale and averaged for the final O, S, N report card grade.
