Mrs. Zimmerman & Mrs. DeBold will meet with all classes in the Media Center on an alternating "A" Week and "B" Week. In grades 2-5, a flexible schedule will allow to alternate between a media lesson allowing time for inquiry research projects and a shorter book exchange time.
In the Media Center, children learn that the answers to their questions are accessible and tangible. We lead students to not only find answers to their questions, but also to spark their pursuit of further knowledge. Ultimately, it is the goal of Cashell ’s Library Media Program to ignite an excitement and enthusiasm for reading and research in students.
Our Library Media Program supports and is an extension of the classroom curriculum. Collaboration with teachers across grade levels ensures the integration of information literacy & technology skills into instruction.
The Media Center is open every day for book exchange. Students do not need to wait for their “media day” to check out books!!!

Birthday Book Donation Form
The Birthday Book program is a great way to help us add to the Media Center's collection while at the same time celebrate a birthday, special achievement, or to show teacher appreciation.
When you choose to donate, a bookplate will be placed inside the front cover of a brand new book with your name and the occasion being celebrated. You will be the first person to check out the book. Once it is returned, the book will be available for general circulation. Choose your book to donate from our "Amazon Wish List" or see a Media Center staff member. Thank you!
