Woodward's Mascot and Color Finalists Are Here — Share Your Preference
Charles W. Woodward High School has reached an exciting milestone in our community-driven process to select the school's mascot and colors. After weeks of suggestions, feedback, and planning team review, we are pleased to share our finalists.
Primary Colors: Purple & White
Community input strongly favored returning to Woodward's traditional colors of Purple and White. We are now asking the community to help choose a primary highlight color from three options:
- Yellow/Gold
- Gray/Silver
- Electric Blue
Mascot Finalists
From dozens of community suggestions, our planning team narrowed the field to six finalists that best reflect Woodward's values of unity, community, leadership, pride, and excellence:
- Wolves
- Lions
- Tigers
- Bears
- Dragons
- Storm

We invite students, families, staff, and alumni to weigh in through our Community Preference Survey, open September 21 through October 2.

Feedback gathered through this survey will inform our planning team's final recommendation, with an announcement expected in mid-October.
